I did a tiny bit of site maintenance today: I added a Sitemap and a robots.txt file. both changes make ericw.ca more search engine friendly. Not that I've ever sought to drive a tonne of traffic to my site, but it can't hurt to make a passing effort, right?
I also added an anti-spam field on the comment form. With any luck, (a) typical bot will choke on the field and (b) no spammer actually cares enough to build a bot specifically for this site. Later, if worst comes to worst, I can always deploy the dreaded captcha.

I noticed that searching for your name puts me pretty high in the google rankings :P

True, but only on Google, and only if you search for "Woroshow".
I'm actually hoping these changes will put ericw.ca first on Live Search when you search for "Eric Woroshow", 'cause right now it appears second after my LinkedIn profile. Not only that, but the link is for my code page and not my home page. Bah.
